If you love music, you will definitely want to take in one of our regular concerts at the bandshell in Cambier Park in Olde Naples located in the heart of down town, just south of Fifth Avenue South between Park and Eighth Street South. Bring a blanket and the whole family and enjoy a Sunday afternoon or Monday evening listing to concert, big band and Dixieland Jazz music during the season. Hop on board the Fort Myers Murder Mystery Train for a three and one half hour train ride, a delicious dinner and a live hilarious murder mystery show where you get to play detective. Solve the dastardly deed by writing down the clues as they happen and if you are cleaver enough to catch all the clues and solve the mystery, you will be the super sleuth and win a special prize. The Mystery Dinner Train departs promptly at 6:30 PM Wednesday through Saturday and 5:30 PM on Sunday. You will want to call ahead for reservations
The Gulfshore Playhouse is Florida’s first and finest professional theater company. Summer Jazz at the Naples Beach Hotel
If you love Jazz and are looking for something to do during the summer, the Naples Beach Hotel is the place to be. Each summer for over 30 years the hotel has presented Summer Jazz on the Gulf, a free outdoor event that takes place once a month from June through September. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for an evening of live entertainment with Gulf of Mexico and its breathtaking sunsets and refreshing breezes serving as the perfect backdrop. The Artis (formerly the Philharmonic Center for the Arts), at 99,000 square feet is the premier performing arts hall in Southwest Florida. Opened in November of 1989, the Artis hosts more than 400 events a year including world-class dance, opera, classical and popular music and Broadway musicals. Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall is located on the The campus of Edison College in Fort Myers.
