Olde Cypress Naples, Florida
Olde Cypress, located just east of I-75, is a single-family home community in North Naples with an emphasis on family. Known for its natural beauty, Olde Cypress is a low density gated community of approximately 450 homes nestled on 500 acres of pine and cypress woods and 176 acres of preserves and lakes with each home having captivating golf course or preserve view.
Members of the Equity Club at Olde Cypress enjoy a private 6,711 yard championship golf course designed by renowned architect P.B. Dye. Four of the 18 holes do not have homes which makes for an enjoyable and scenic round. Holes range from 133 to 601 yards from the back tees and are appropriately named. Featuring Dye´s signature undulating fairways and miniature pot bunkers, the course presents a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The course has superb practice facilities featuring an oversized teeing area, six target greens, a short game practice area with sand and grass bunkers, a chipping and pitching area, as well as an area for practicing uneven lies.
At the heart of the community is the 38,000 square foot Clubhouse. Decorated in an old world style and reminiscent of a Spanish castle, the club features world class dining, relaxing lounges, a pro shop, locker rooms, fitness center, and lap pool. Members can also take advantage of one of the finest tennis facilities in the Naples area. The four red clay lighted Hydro Grid tennis courts provide both league and recreational play.
At the center of the Clubhouse is the Grande Gallery, a functioning art gallery exhibiting the works of well know artists including Art Fronckowiak who is known for his Old Florida scenes. The Club at Olde Cypress was recipient of the 2002 Sand Dollar Award from the Collier Building Industry Association for "Clubhouse of the Year"
