The PhilharmonicCenter for the Arts, at 99,000 square feet is the premier performing arts hall in Southwest Florida.Opened in November of 1989, the "Phil" hosts more than 400 events a year including world-class dance, opera, classical and popular music and Broadway musicals. The Center includes four art galleries, two sculpture gardens and is the home to the Naples Museum of Art and the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Naples Art Association's vonLiebigArtCenter hosts changing exhibitions of contemporary American art by regional, national and internationally recognized artists with a focus on Florida art.The center provides an extensive art education program offering professional studio courses and workshops for both children and adults.Additionally the association sponsors art fairs and festivals throughout the season.
The von Liebig Art center, which was designed by Naples architect Alfred French, opened in November, 1998 with its permanent collection of post-war American art.The two story, 16,000 square foot center features six studios, lobby gallery, a main exhibition gallery, four galleries-in-the-round, two collection storage vaults, library resource center, gift shop, administrative offices and a catering kitchen.Located on Park Street just off of Fifth Avenue, the Center is open six days per week and admission is free.
